2026-08-29 TestLogger expands the Collector range with Mini v1.1 and the new Collector Midi¶
TestLogger has launched two data logging main units for RC cars. The Collector Mini v1.1 adds a second analog input while keeping the same dimensions and the same price as the original Mini. The Collector Midi is a new unit with six analog inputs. Both come with an improved lap receiver that can be mounted behind a painted bodyshell.
Both units carry more measurement capacity than the ones they follow, and that is the first step in expanding the Collector portfolio's measurement capabilities, including damper position sensors in the coming weeks.
Collector Mini v1.1 has two analog inputs, one more than the original Mini. Analog inputs take TestLogger's temperature and voltage sensors, so a second sensor goes on the car without giving anything up to make room for it. The main unit dimensions are unchanged, so existing installations, mounts and wiring carry over, and the price is unchanged as well.
Collector Midi has six analog inputs, four more than the Mini v1.1. Despite the increased amount of inputs, the footprint is only 5 mm longer. Everything else in the system, from the software to the sensors, is shared with the Mini.
The improved lap receiver is included with both units and is sensitive enough to sit inside the car behind a painted bodyshell, which makes installation cleaner and removes one more thing to check between runs. It reads TestLogger track side beacons, which are sold separately: one beacon gives lap times, and split times need a minimum of two.
Collector data is analysed in TestLogger Analyzer, and in TestLogger Manager, where long-term data reports track a measured or calculated channel across anything from a single session to a whole season and the Coach TQ assistant works directly from the logged data. Every Collector includes 12 months of both Analyzer Pro and Manager Pro.

Pricing and availability¶
Collector Mini v1.1 is 159 euros, unchanged from the original Collector Mini, and Collector Midi is 189 euros (VAT 0%). Final price depends on the VAT regulations of each country.
Both packages include wiring for a basic installation, a 6-axis IMU, RPM sensors, a lap receiver, a memory card, and 12 months of both Analyzer Pro and Manager Pro. Track side beacons and the temperature, voltage and wheel speed sensors are sold separately, so most users start from one of the Collector bundles, which combine a main unit with the beacon and sensors for a complete setup. Bundles start at 198 euros.
All units, bundles, sensors and beacons are available at testlogger.com/store. Collector Mini v1.1 ships immediately; Collector Midi orders ship from mid-September.
